I am a passionate Mathematics student entering my third year at University of Bath who enjoys teaching and helping GCSE and A level students with content from Maths and Further Maths that they struggle with in the simplest and most straightforward way, focusing on going through step by step examples together to make sure you fully understand the material. I have one year of tutoring experience and have worked with students of all abilities, from those aiming to just pass their exams to those aiming for top grades. I adapt my teaching depending on the student, whether that’s revising key GCSE topics, practising exam-style questions, or getting more comfortable understanding mathematical concepts. I also share tips and strategies for exam success, including time management and how to tackle challenging questions, helping you manage your time effectively during revision and in the exam itself; for example learning how to break down long questions, figuring out how to start answering them and how to avoid spending too much time on a single problem. Many of my students have improved their results significantly, but just as importantly, they’ve gained confidence in their own abilities. Since my ambition is to become maths teacher, I see tutoring as a way for me to share my passion while gaining valuable experience. My goal is to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, motivated to improve and enjoy the lessons without finding them slow or boring. I am really looking forward to tutor students in need for help who are willing to improve and get better grades!
