I have been teaching ESOL since 1999 and the vast experience and devotion puts me in position to apply.
Throughout my teaching career having had dedicated myself as a teacher, I demonstrated principles of social values of equality and justice within school grounds and as a local citizen.I have always taken into consideration, respected and have led my career according to social and cultural diversity.I set an example of being an ethical and just teacher committing myself in broadening learners’ minds about diversity and its principles. Conducting lessons, I always endeavour to engage learners in world issues in order to elicit and broaden their experiences and outlook of learning to create better futures for themselves and Others.I encourage Students during lessons and within the school grounds to demonstrate honesty and openness among each other treating each other with dignity and kindness regardless of their differences is it their gender, race or religious ching devotion doesn’t just end with the last school bell, but it takes a lot of passion, dedication and professional development off the school grounds which I commit myself to introspectively strive towards.
As a teacher of English subject, I work hard to deepen and elaborate the curriculum knowledge in order to deliver adequate lessons in accordance with social and economic conditions of the learners.Should I encounter an educational challenge, I find the time to analyse and evaluate the situation in order to overcome this with success; otherwise, I don't hesitate to discuss it with my colleagues to find an adequate and relevant outcomes.?Due to the fact I am a trained psychologist, I implement the knowledge of psychology in lessons of English. For instance, I pre-select topics of which Students decide which to choose for a group presentations. That way, Students not only learn English, but are introduced social studies where they have to find information in various places.?Moreover, such approach gives them an opportunity to learn independently as well as learn from each other.
