Robert Joshua Loveridge

I hold a degree in Maths & Economics and am currently completing my MSc at the University of Warwick. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, as well as 6 months teaching at a British boarding school, working with students of a wide range of abilities and ages.

Over the years, I've found that students rarely struggle with maths simply because it is “too difficult”. More often, there is a small gap in their understanding of an earlier concept that eventually makes more advanced topics seem much harder than they really are. My job is to find that gap and fix it.

In our lessons, we will work through problems together rather than simply memorising methods. I’ll ask questions, explain concepts from different angles and adapt my approach to the way the student learns best. This allows me to pinpoint exactly where their understanding breaks down, strengthen the fundamentals and gradually build the confidence to tackle unfamiliar exam questions independently.

Whether a student is struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams, or aiming to push their grade as high as possible, lessons will be tailored specifically to their goals and current level.

Lessons are relaxed, interactive and entirely student-focused, with the pace adjusted to ensure that each concept is properly understood before moving on.
