My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs and exam board (including OCR GCSE Computer Science).

We typically start with a quick recap or diagnostic to identify gaps, followed by clear teaching of the key topic using simple explanations and real examples. I break down complex areas like programming, algorithms, and data representation into manageable steps, checking understanding throughout.

Lessons are interactive—students don’t just listen, they actively practise. This might include writing Python code, working through exam-style questions, or applying concepts to real scenarios. I place a strong focus on exam technique, helping students understand how to structure answers and avoid common mistakes.

I also use past papers and targeted questions to build confidence and track progress over time.

I’m a qualified teacher with a background in physics and IT, currently working as a data and IT trainer. I’ve supported learners across GCSE, A-level, and apprenticeships, so I’m experienced in adapting explanations to different levels and learning styles.

My aim is always the same: build confidence, strengthen understanding, and help students achieve the best possible results.
