I like to get my students involved in the lesson, rather than lecturing them because active learning is proven to be the most efficient and effective form of learning. My lessons would start with a quick and fun warm-up to get my students in the 'focus zone'. I would then present them with a few challenge questions of the topic that I would be covering that session, breaking down each question into 'bite-size' chunks. I keep track of the topics that my students are doing well on and the topics that need more work, so I can adapt my lessons/methods to their ability.
