I am particularly skilled at conveying complex matter in a simple and manageable way. I believe every student has the capacity for understanding in all subjects, and one of my main objectives as a tutor is to incite an interest in the student I'm teaching. I am extremely diligent and put a lot of effort in lesson planning to meet the needs of the individual student.

I believe the key to exam success is building a realistic plan around a child's individual ability and learning style. I have experience tutoring both GCSE and A level students in Maths and the Sciences and help them reach their potential.

I initially assess the student's current understanding and identify areas of strength and weakness before setting specific, achievable goals with the student. I create customised lesson plans with a focus of interactive activities and provide clear explanations of concepts, breaking down complex idea into manageable parts. To reinforce learning, I provide ample opportunities for practice with assigning practice questions. Feedback is provided to guide the student's progress

Periodic assessments, such as quizzes and mini-tests will allow me to gauge their progress and identify areas for improvement. I also offer guidance and support to help the student develop study skills, time management techniques and effective learning strategies which can benefit them beyond the tutoring sessions.
