Richie Ryan

Hello! I am Richie and I am a musician from the Republic of Ireland! I have been teaching music and English for over 10 years now and, to me, education is an extremely important and rewarding vocation. I have taught students of all ages, levels, nationalities and needs from primary school children in Toscana, Italia to business people online from Lithuania! And everythign in between.

My biggest strengths are my empathy and patience. As a learner of a second language, I can fully understand the ups and downs, the triumphs and frustrations of all the rules and their many exceptions. My goal is to fully understand the student in front of me and how best to teach them. Everyone is different and I love and celebrate that!

As a musician, I love to use creativity as a way to promote the confidence in my student to express themselves and see the English language as an open and exciting tool of communication. There is so much beauty and fun to be found in the langauge, and I feel it is my job to guide my students in findign the courage and autonomy to USE English with joy and freedom.

I can help with grammar, expanding vocabulary, work on phonetics and pronunciation, conversation skills, exam preparation of all kinds, or more specific needs related to your work. Another big strength of mine is adaptability! I can fit to whatever you want to get from your English langauge journey!
