Ria Patel

Hey! My name is Ria, and I love to bring lots of energy and enthusiasm to every tutoring session. I’d describe myself as bubbly, approachable, and someone who loves to make learning fun. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported, and engaged—and that’s exactly the environment I aim to create.

I have experience working with students in person and online of different ages and backgrounds, all the way from year 1 up to a level and one of my strengths is building strong connections with kids. Because they can relate to me, I’m able to break down barriers, make them feel at ease, and turn lessons into something they actually look forward to. Whether it’s explaining tricky concepts, celebrating small wins, or just listening when they need it, I strive to meet students where they are and help them grow from there.

What excites me most about tutoring is not only seeing academic progress but also watching students gain confidence in themselves. I love those moments when a student realizes, 'I can do this!', and my goal is to help make those moments happen as often as possible.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy music, dancing and playing sports, which always helps me bring creativity and real-life examples into my sessions.
