Hello! My name is Ria Battu. I’m a friendly, patient GCSE & A-Level Maths tutor who aims to help students feel confident instead of intimidated by maths. I explain topics using clear, everyday examples so even the toughest ideas start to feel simple and logical.

Having achieved an A* in A-Level Maths and now beginning my degree in Actuarial Science, I have clear insight into what exam boards expect. I focus on filling knowledge gaps, strengthening core understanding, and building the skills needed to tackle harder exam-style questions independently.

My lessons create a comfortable, supportive environment where students feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace, ensuring they truly understand the topic rather than memorising steps.
