Rhiannon O’Sullivan

My teaching style is friendly and interactive, creating an environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I adapt the pace and content of each lesson depending on the student, whether they need support building foundations, improving exam technique, or pushing their understanding further.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by understanding the student’s current confidence, learning style, and the areas they would like to improve. From there, I create structured lessons that balance explanation, discussion, practice activities, and opportunities for students to develop their own ideas. I will also mark any work or look at work outside the allotted meeting time to further help.

As a Geography graduate with experience as a university student ambassador, I have developed strong communication skills and enjoy helping others build confidence in their abilities. I have experience explaining complex ideas clearly to different audiences and supporting students in their academic development.

My aim is to make every lesson engaging, encouraging, and useful, helping students not only improve academically but also confidence in their own skills and capabilities.

My main focus areas include GCSE English (both), and Geography as well as A-Level Geography and English Lit. I can also offer experience in University level degree writing as well as help with EPQs!
