Hi! I’m Rui, a passionate and experienced Chinese teacher. My lessons are designed to be interactive, practical, and tailored to your individual learning goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I offer structured lessons that balance speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Lesson Format:
I offer one-on-one teaching online. Each session typically includes:
- A warm-up conversation to practice speaking naturally
- Vocabulary and grammar explained in context
- Listening and reading practice using real-life materials
- Fun activities like role-plays or games to reinforce what you’ve learned

Content & Style:
My classes are dynamic and student-centered. I incorporate topics based on your interests, such as travel, business, daily life, or culture. You’ll get plenty of speaking time and personalised feedback to build confidence and fluency.

My Experience:
With over five years of teaching experience and a background in a Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language to Foreigners, I’ve supported students of all ages and backgrounds to learn Chinese. I’ve taught in Peking, Edinburgh Academy, five primary schools and Banbridge Academy in this country and specialise in making language learning enjoyable and effective.
