In lessons we would start off by going over the basics of English language, we will use presentations and worked examples to help us throughout the lesson and there will also be homework at the end of every lesson. I can also recommend books to read depending on the stage you are at, and we will work through a series of questions every time. The lessons will be very engaging and hopefully a lot of fun. I am able to speak English as well as Hindi and some Gujurati, so can teach students of any age who speak these languages and are willing to learn English. I want to be able to help someone who doesn’t have English as their first language and I want to be able to give them the freedom of learning one of the most common languages in the world. I can also teach and students who are doing their GCSE’s or below since I have done English literature and language at GCSE’s and received a grade 9 in both of them. I proceeded to do English at AS level and received an A. I have previously worked with students doing 11+ as well as GCSE’s and even taught a student who only understood Hindi at first. I would love to help a lot more students, as I have been in a similar situation at one point too, not knowing the language is difficult, and I take it as my job to help anyone that is struggling.
