I believe that the best method to success and understanding in teaching, is having engaging teaching methods. In my previous tutoring experiences, I have found that lessons led in a lecture style have led students to be disengaged and to not understand the topic clearly. In my lessons, I will not be sitting there talking at you, boring you away, the lesson will be led by you. You will take control and show me what you understand and then we will build up from there. This will be done through, exam questions, quizzes, videos and so much more. The lesson will always start with a blurting exercise or practice questions to test your knowledge followed by other teaching practices. Every lesson will be focused on a topic that you are unsure of, I will ask you constantly if there’s anything new that you feel we need to cover, to ensure that we are making the most out of our time. Not only this, I provide an out-of-hours experience, whereby I leave my email with you, so that you can get into contact with any queries you may have outside of our lesson time. This way, any help that you need at any point will always be provided to you. I believe that being of a younger age, I have been told by students that they feel as though they can relate to me more and be more open with me with about what they are confused on and understand more from me than teachers as it is explained in a different method.
