Ren

Hi! I am Ren, a Psychology and Sociology student at the University of Edinburgh and a native Mandarin Chinese speaker.

I offer tutoring in Chinese, Psychology, and Sociology. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs and learning goals, whether that involves improving subject knowledge, developing study skills, or building confidence. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment through clear explanations, discussion, and practice activities. I used believe that I was not a smart student but I reckon that no one is dumb now! If you have the same worries, here is my experience and education background for your reference:

[ ] I played a positive and responsible student leader role, providing, various study activities for students, in which I have learnt on how to meet different needs and recognise students' strength and weakness.

[2024] Dedicated to leveraging personal growth to empower others and myself facing difficulties, I took a gap year. I joined in MD summer camp project, participating in volunteer for young adult to be informed with professional career information in Chinese rural area. The value of helping others is a significant lesson for me.

[2025] I have been ticketing agent near River Cam shortly, and I have improved my oral English and communication skills sharply.

[Present] I am a part-time personal care assistant during summer holidays, wishing to help individuals with disability.
