Over the two years I've been tutoring I've found my technique to be very effective.

I like to start a topic, say Trigonometry, by going over the method rigorously first without values or a question.
Then, I go through a question step by step.
Then, I ask you to try a question and help you if you get stuck.
Finally, I will get a Worksheet up and we will go through all the questions getting progre...

I then back this up with testing on this lesson in subsequent weeks.
