Remy Henry

Hi! I’m a friendly and creative tutor with a strong background in education and the arts. I currently work as a cover supervisor in a specialist SEN and behavioural primary school, where I support students with a wide range of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. I hold a BA in Musical Theatre and an A-Level in Health and Social Care, and I bring both creativity and care into every lesson.

My lessons are engaging, flexible, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I aim to build confidence, curiosity, and independence through structured yet fun sessions. Lessons usually begin with a short check-in and warm-up activity, followed by a clear learning focus that we explore through interactive tasks, creative challenges, games, or discussions—depending on the age and needs of the learner.

I’m especially experienced in supporting children who need a little extra patience, encouragement, or differentiated strategies to help them succeed. I use a positive, calm approach that helps learners feel safe, respected, and motivated. Whether your child needs help with literacy, creative writing, comprehension, emotional regulation, or general academic support, I will adapt the session to suit their pace and learning style.

Outside of teaching, I love writing fiction and romance, painting and drawing, reading, and getting outside in nature—passions I often bring into my sessions to keep learning lively and meaningful.
