I am a passionate and dedicated mathematics tutor with over 14 years of experience working with learners from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs, with the goal of building confidence and developing strong mathematical skills.

Lesson Format & Approach
Every session begins with a short review to check understanding and identify areas for focus.
I use diagnostic assessments and continuous feedback to personalise lesson plans and ensure progress is clear and measurable.
Lessons combine clear explanations, worked examples, and interactive problem-solving, so students not only practise skills but also understand the “why” behind the methods.
I encourage active participation through questioning, discussion, and real-world examples to make maths relevant and engaging.


I teach across KS2, KS3, GCSE, and Functional Skills Maths, adapting the pace and style to match the student’s needs.
For exam preparation, I provide exam-style questions, revision strategies, and examiner insights (drawing on my experience as a Pearson Edexcel GCSE Maths Examiner).

I create a supportive, safe learning environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, helping students to overcome maths anxiety and develop a “can-do” attitude.
