My lessons are designed to make Mathematics simple, intuitive, and enjoyable rather than something to memorize or fear. I focus strongly on building a clear understanding of concepts first, and then gradually moving toward problem-solving with confidence.
Typically, each session begins with a quick revision of previous concepts to ensure continuity. I then introduce the new topic with real-life examples or simple analogies so that students can relate to it easily. Instead of directly jumping into formulas, I explain the “why” behind them, this helps students retain concepts much better.
Once the concept is clear, we work through a variety of problems together, starting from basic questions and progressing to more challenging ones. I encourage students to think aloud and attempt problems on their own, guiding them wherever needed. This builds both confidence and independent problem-solving ability.
I also pay special attention to common mistakes and exam patterns, helping students develop the right approach for school exams and competitive assessments. Regular practice sheets, doubt-clearing sessions, and periodic tests are part of the learning process.
With over 20 years of teaching experience for classes 6th to 10th, I understand that every student learns differently. So, I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s pace and needs, whether they need more foundational support or advanced practice.
My goal is not just to improve marks, but to help students develop clarity, confidence, and a genuine interest in Mathematics.
