I have recently finished A-Levels where I achieved an A in mathematics, I averaged 84.3% across my A-Level papers and attained 100% on my mechanics section of the examination. I enjoy studying mathematics in my spare time and have been studying further mathematics in my summer time. I will be starting a bachelors degree in Mathematics with Finance at the University of Liverpool as of September 2025. I aim to build strong problem solving connections within my students, I am happy to teach and spread my knowledge of maths with any student willing to learn. I aim to help my student understand why things are happening and not just the method how to do it, so it sticks and leaves the student with a feeling of satisfaction. A knowledge of maths also bleeds into other subjects and everyday life, with sciences requiring it and a problem solving attitude is helpful to anyone. I would typically ask a student what areas they know need working on, start with the basics and build up to a higher level of understanding, I specialise in calculus mainly, but I am open to teaching any area of mathematics. I hold no prejudice to anyone at any level in their journey with the subject, and happily will teach anyone as long as they are willing to learn.
