Rebecca Rudd

I am a qualified secondary school English teacher with up to ten years of teaching experience. I can teach A-Level, GCSE (both Language and Literature) and Key Stage 3.

I am passionate about making the subject fun, creative and accessible to all students. I have a friendly, supportive and inclusive approach to my teaching and I use a wide variety of teaching strategies and activities to support learning. I ensure that there is discussion, time for questions, scaffolding (through writing frames, sentence starters, word banks) along with model answers and examples to aid understanding.

I can teach a range of topics from: poetry, creative writing, speaking and listening, essay writing, reading comprehension, analytical writing and much more.

I always ensure that the lessons are structured, clear and varied with clear lesson objectives for maximum productivity and value.

I love teaching English and believe it is a fantastic subject to study!
