I have spent over 30 years operating at the commercial frontline of international business leading sales teams, managing cross-cultural partnerships, negotiating enterprise deals and communicating with stakeholders across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Business English isn't something I've studied in isolation. It's the tool I've used every day to build relationships, close deals and lead people.

That lived commercial experience is what sets me apart as a tutor.

I understand the specific pressure points that adult learners and business professionals face: presenting with confidence to senior stakeholders, writing emails that are clear and credible, handling difficult conversations, navigating cultural nuance in international settings. I don't teach from a textbook I teach from the situations my students will actually encounter.

My career spans logistics, the third sector and B2B SaaS, with roles requiring precision written communication, persuasive verbal communication and the ability to adapt my language for very different audiences from board-level executives to frontline teams. I hold an MBA with Distinction, completed in 2025, which sharpened both my academic and applied communication skills further.

I bring the same commercial rigour to tutoring that I bring to everything else: clear objectives, structured progression and a relentless focus on outcomes. For adult learners, that means measurable confidence. For businesses, that means a tangible return on the investment in their people.
