My lessons involve understanding psychological theory from a real-world viewpoint. So for example trying to understand real-world events using psychological theory. This cements knowledge acquisition and understanding, allowing deeper memory construction (good for revision). Additionally, bringing the content to life in this way leads to a more enjoyable learning experience. I have a relaxed approach and like to bring humour to learning. I do have high expectations and will work hard to understand your needs and provide tailored learning experiences and resources that you can use during and after our sessions. I also utilise a tried and tested package of support materials that include essay plans, writing structures and handy mnemonics to ensure you walk into your assessments and exams fully prepared. I have guided many students through A Level Psychology and through their psychology degrees. I am also an experienced teacher of the WJEC Criminology level 3 qualification. As a final note I have been acknowledged by LJMU for my outstanding contribution to teaching.
