My role was to provide a safe and stimulating environment which facilitates learning, organizing and supervising work activities. Also, liaising with parents, care workers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors was also a role I encountered. I’ve achieved excellent management and empathy skills from my current employment and will help guide me through the work placement in the future.
As a child's development is crucial in younger years, a role of an early year’s teacher is to ensure individuals meet those milestones. Encouraging children to talk to peers, posing open ended questions and becoming involved in play, it extends and enhances learning. My role was to ensure each child was continuously meeting their milestones and responsible for their health and wellbeing.

Classroom Assistant
My role as a classroom assistant was to support teachers by helping to supervise activities in a classroom, working with children individually, small groups or whole class basis. Also, I had responsibilities to manage learning support and report children's progress. This took part daily and was completed smoothy with a structed daily plan.
As a creative, enthusiastic individual, given a role of artwork was exciting. Each month I ensured classroom was bright and colorful which helped each child gain a sense of achievement seeing completed work and a sense of warmth in classroom.
