I have been teaching the IB for over 15 years and also been an examiner for the same length of time in tip international schools around the world. My students achieve consistent success. I have also been working as a private tutor for 10 years specialising in IB assessments in English language and literature and the ToK essay. I tailor my lessons to each student’s individual needs, focusing closely on IB assessment objectives to help them achieve top results. After identifying a student’s strengths and areas for improvement, I design targeted sessions that build both subject knowledge and essential exam skills. My lessons are structured yet supportive, combining clear explanations, guided practice, and skill-focused activities. As a friendly and caring tutor, I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and well-prepared for their assessments. We have a lot of fun in each tutoring session as well as hard work of course to ensure the student is motivated and feeling confident in their abilities whilst fully understanding the requirements of the assessment in order to succeed. I also have a pre-IB preparation course which I offer in English language and literature aimed for students who are entering the IB and arming the. with the necessary skills to feel confident and organised as thy enter the two year diploma. Depending on the needs of the individual student, each session is adapted solely dependent on their own needs with a suitable timeline created for the number of sessions I believe is necessary for them.
