I have been working with younger kids since I was 10 years of age. I tend to try a calm and sweet approach but do stand my ground so the kids know that I will be the one in charge when it comes down to it. I was to be a teacher working with kids at the primary school level. I have tutored kids between the 1st and 5th. I connect with the student before I try to teach or help tutor them so they can trust me and see that I am not a stranger. I take into consideration the kids I work with and how they feel. I listen to how they feel and if they are having a bad day I will take the lesson easy on them. If they are having a good day I will try to get them to the point where they are nearly close to master said lesson, I love seeing kids achieve their goals with my help. I am very good at talking on a kid's level and helping kids with all kinds of disabilities or no disabilities to understand exactly what they need to understand. I am able to get kids to want to enjoy learning depending on the age group, with little kids I resort to songs and dances and funny things to make it fun. For older kids, I tend to make jokes and get them to want to learn more. I connect on their levels no matter the age.
