Hi, I'm Raven — a London-based art and design tutor offering online lessons. I hold a BA (Hons) in 3D Digital Animation and have over a decade of experience combining classroom and workshop teaching with a professional career in creative production.

My teaching background includes covering Art lessons in secondary schools, delivering animation and design workshops for young people — including a Special Educational Needs animation camp where every student completed their own short animation clip — and running creative content workshops for teens. I also work full-time as a creative director, host, and video editor for a UK YouTube channel, so I'm entirely comfortable teaching on camera and keeping sessions engaging and interactive.

My lessons are one-to-one, in groups, and tailored to the student — whether a complete beginner or someone building a stronger portfolio. I break techniques into clear, manageable steps covering drawing fundamentals, illustration, character and concept work, basic animation principles, and video editing, using tools like Adobe Photoshop and video editing software, with regular feedback so students can track their progress. I keep sessions relaxed and encouraging rather than formal, which helps students — especially younger ones — stay motivated and genuinely enjoy the process.

I'm flexible on scheduling and happy to adapt content and pace around what the student wants to achieve, whether that's a specific project, exam preparation, or simply building confidence and a portfolio in a new creative skill.
