The first lesson is usually discussing which topics you find most difficult and what areas you want to focus on, after which I will give you a test or questions specific to your needs, so that I can see exactly what you need to improve on, I will be going through the questions with you and explaining how to reach an answer and delve deeper into the thinking that goes in solving those kinds of problems.
I have over 1 year of experience tutoring both A level and GCSE students and have achieved great results with them, I have a deep understanding on the common issues that students face and how to help the student overcome them.
After the first lesson we will be doing practice questions focused on those specific areas and also adding more broad questions to check your abilities on the rest of the exam content. I will help you structure your questions better to make it easier to understand and answer them and we will be doing practice papers and past exam papers to make sure you are completing them within the time you have.
An important part when it comes to doing your exam is feeling ready and having all content revised, this will also help with exam anxiety and stress, because if you revised all the content and feel confident, the feeling of anxiety goes away.
