Rathi Selvaraj

I am an accomplished Chemistry Lecturer, Teacher, and Royal Society of Chemistry member (MRSC) with over 10 years of cross-sector educational experience spanning higher education, special educational needs (SEN), and technical training. My academic foundation includes serving as a Lecturer at SRM University and AMA College of Engineering (p. 2). In this role, I designed comprehensive chemistry curricula, supervised over 100 error-free laboratory experiments, and mentored student research projects resulting in academic publications.

Dedicated to inclusive education, I spent nearly a decade as a Trainer and Tutor at TIA and worked with Serendipity SEN School. I developed 30 specialized tutorials for learners aged 4 to 17, tailored resource delivery for SEN pupils, and achieved a 100% reduction in classroom behavioral incidents through trust-based pastoral care. Additionally, my instructional background extends to corporate and assessment leadership. I have on boarded personnel across complex analytical methods as a Technical Trainer at British American Tobacco and supervised up to 180 students as an Exam Invigilator for the University of Southampton. Driven by a Bachelor of Education and an M.Phil. in Chemistry, I seamlessly combine data-driven progress analytics with student-centered learning.
