Raslica (Raz) Robinson

I cater directly for the needs of the individual student that I am working with. All courses will start with conversation , communication, verbal, visual and written assessments to gauge students understanding and levels. This allows me to tailor and scaffold sessions to obtain the maximum learning from each student. As a teacher I recognise the pressures that young people are under in the school environment. I also understand that organisation and an excellent understanding of the English language are key to achieving and surpassing target grades.

I should be seen as an extra resource for each student. I can read through and mark course work before it is handed in. I can work through any difficulties that might arise in any subject. Although I can research specific information to help individuals improve work. I also provide and teach how to research as this provides individuals with the necessary tools needed to go further in education.

My 23 years teaching experience has taught me that each person learns differently. I adapt my teaching styles and I develop resource's to suit the desired learning style of each person. Each session is student led as I feel it is important to work on the work that is given from the educational establishment they belong. My aim is not to give additional work, it is to ease work load and provide students with the vital tools to achieve their potential.

I believe in total positive regard and I will constantly work hard to inspire and encourage each person whether it be educational or vocational.
