I am adaptable, ambitious, and passionate about maximising student learning outcomes. As a recent graduate with a degree in Psychology in Education, I know and understand children’s behaviour and the influence of the classroom. Having volunteered as a mentor and tutored KS3 students and tutored GCSE students, I would like to further my experience in teaching within the education system. I have been a Teaching Assistant in primary schools to understand teaching in–person and in the classroom. Having worked as a part-time waiter for 3 years, I understand the need to work towards a commitment and the value of being part of a team.

During my time as a tutor, I used different collaborative tools and online resources to help any student achieve the academic goals they need. From identifying the differences between key grammar errors and evaluating descriptive, evaluative and creative writing answers, I focus a great deal on not only developing yours skills in English GCSE but also understanding what the exam board is looking for. With all my lessons, I keep to a vibrant and fun lesson so that you really do enjoy the subject, especially for infant, KS1 and early years students. I ensure they use a range of different phonics through songs, understanding the alphabet through outside chalk activities and painting and enabling the mobility skills by using active literacy games in dice and reading.

I have a passion to teach students and ensure their lessons are fun, reliable, socially and academically developing to them!
