Hey future students!
The format of my lessons generally start out with a first lesson of assessment. This is generally a talk, accompanied with your textbook or wherever your slecification for your course is, and a discussion on your strengths and weaknesses. If we have discussed that and still have time, then we can move onto any ready made resources you or I may have and we can work through them together.
After that, I will take some time creating a personalised lesson plan for you, depending on the hours available and how much content one needs to provide.
Typical lessons may include:
- Some starter questions on topics we feel confident in, and to assess any issues or bumps along the way,
- Going over any assignments given to you from previous lessons (if not in lesson, then will be marked and given feedback during the week)
- Going over any particular topic planned for that lesson
- Having feedback on how we feel of the subject and course so far, as well as any questions throughout the lessons (or any that have been asked between lessons that need careful planning).
- A plan of what the next lessons may hold.
I will also be available to help with any quick questions you may have on any particular topics throughout the day, typically within a 24-48 hour period.
In terms of new students coming by, a quick message on what would like to be studied, hours available, and whether one can study via an Online system (such as Discord or Zoom), or if in-person. Then a response should be given within a 48 hour period.
