I will tailor the lessons to your preferences, after having a baseline session examining your learning style and level. Each session, I will create resources from scratch which will be presented during the lesson, as well as a homework pack containing extra questions, extension questions and information about related topics pushing your understanding beyond the syllabus. I will be happy to create study timetables to help focus your revision, and a major part of my tutoring style will be a focus on extra maths and introducing you to more fun, challenging areas as well as covering the exam syllabus in great depth.
I am a maths and futher maths student, currently aiming to study mathematics at a high-level competitive university, and have a great passion for extra curricular maths. I run a maths club in collaboration with a library and charity as well as planning events such as interform maths at my school, so rest assured I will deliver a great amount of passion and enjoyment to every session.
I have also achieved high results in my studies, such as a grade 9 in GCSE maths, and a gold in the UKMT intermediate maths challenge, and will help present some of my top tips to you during lessons.
I am also available for music tuition, as I am a keen violinist, pianist and composer, currently working on my Grade 8 violin, and will tailor lessons to your individual musical style to optimise your talents.
I have attended countless orchestras, such as my music service's symphony orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra Inspire course as well as participating in composition residentials and competitions, and will help develop not only your individual musical abilities, but your teamwork in chamber music.
