My teaching approach focuses on developing a strong foundation of knowledge before progressing to guided practice through worked examples. Once students feels comfortable with the material, I encourage them to apply their learning independently, providing support and feedback along the way. This structure will help students build both confidence and long-term understanding. I also focus a lot on helping students work on their exam technique as this is important to master if a student wants top grades!
I am currently a medical student but in the past I have obtained a bachelor's degree in biomedical science, a Master of research in cancer research, a PGCE in education to become a qualified teacher and have also worked as a secondary and sixth form science and maths teacher in the past.
