My lessons are fun, engaging, and supportive, but I also maintain discipline and focus to ensure students make real progress. I believe students learn best when they enjoy the lesson and feel comfortable asking questions, while also being challenged to reach their full potential. I hold a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and have over 10 years of teaching experience working with children from primary school age up to GCSE level.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs, learning style, and goals. I usually begin by understanding what the student is confident with and where they may need extra support. From there, I create structured lessons that combine clear explanations, interactive learning, practice exercises, and regular feedback. I focus on building strong foundations first, because confidence and understanding go hand in hand.
I like to keep lessons dynamic and interactive rather than simply reading from textbooks. I use examples, problem-solving activities, and step-by-step guidance to help students stay engaged and fully understand the topic. For younger students, I make learning enjoyable and motivating, while for GCSE students I focus more on exam techniques, accuracy, and improving performance under pressure.
Over the years, I have worked with students of different abilities and personalities, including those who struggle with confidence or concentration. My aim is always to create a positive environment where students feel supported, motivated, and encouraged to improve at their own pace while still achieving strong academic progress.
