Racheal Jinadu

My lessons are designed to be supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. As a current BA student studying English Language/Linguistics and World Literature, and preparing to pursue Law, I have strong academic experience in reading, writing, and analytical thinking. I achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE and a B at A-Level in English, which has given me both the subject knowledge and the study strategies needed to succeed in exams.
I aim to make lessons clear, engaging, and comfortable for students. As a young tutor, I understand the pressures students face in school today, and I try to create a relaxed environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through challenges. I believe that building confidence is just as important as improving grades.

Each lesson usually begins with a short recap of previous material, followed by focused work on the main topic. Depending on the student’s goals, we might analyse texts together, practise essay writing, work through exam-style questions, or break down difficult concepts step by step. I also help students develop practical skills such as structuring essays, improving vocabulary, and approaching exam questions effectively.

My teaching methods focus on discussion, guided practice, and clear explanations rather than simply giving answers. I encourage students to think critically and develop their own ideas while providing structured support. I also give constructive feedback so students understand how to improve.

Overall, my goal is to help students feel more confident in their abilities while developing strong academic skills. I want my lessons to be both productive and encouraging, helping students not only achieve better results but also build lasting confidence in their learning.
