I make sure that the content of the tutorial lessons are update and relevant for daily interactions.
I am keen in identifying the peculiar strengths and needs of my students so as to know exactly how to help them improve in the subject.
I also prioritize the use of simple yet practical illustrations to help the learner grasp the point perfectly and always remember the main point of the lesson with ease.
I choose to work at the pace of each student. Every human has a personal concentration span as well as a unique ability to assimilate any idea or subject. This is especially important to recognize when the subject or lesson being taught is an entirely new one for the student. As a result, I prefer to work at the pace of the student. This helps the student to assimilate ideas perfectly without struggling to comprehend too much at a time.
I also appreciate feedback from the students to know areas I need to improve on as a teacher or where I need to adjust my teaching methods. As a result, I heartily welcome questions during the lessons as well as create special time for interactive sessions before the end of the lesson.
I pay keen attention to students' answers to questions in their homework, tests and examinations. With this, I'll be able to identify students who may be struggling to comprehend the subject and call them personally to assist with the areas that they may find extra difficult.
