Qiongsi Yan

Dear students, I am Qiongsi Yan, your Chinese teacher!

I aim to create a vibrant and engaging learning environment where you will feel encouraged and motivated to learn. My lessons are designed to be student-centered, recognizing each of you as unique individuals with different learning styles and abilities.

In our class, I will apply a differentiated instruction approach. This means that our lessons will be tailored to meet each of your learning needs and preferences. Whether you are a visual learner or you prefer a more hands-on approach, I will ensure that our lessons cater to your unique learning style.

The content of our lessons will be dynamic and interactive, encouraging active participation from all of you. We will use a variety of learning activities, including group discussions, projects, and multimedia presentations. These activities aim to reinforce what we learn, promote critical thinking, and make learning fun and engaging.

With regards to my experience, I have had the privilege to teach students of all age groups both in China and the United States. This diverse teaching experience has allowed me to understand and appreciate different cultures and teaching approaches. It has also taught me to be adaptable and flexible, which I believe are essential qualities in providing an effective learning environment.
