Being an Educator I believe in the Chinese proverb “if you are planning for a year, sow
rice: if you are planning for a decade plant tree: if you are planning for a life time educate
people.” Working with NGOs gives us a chance to explore our potentials and different realms
of our work to build a strong specialism within the technical domain of our career. Education
is the right powerful weapon to change the world and most effective way to expose the
underprivileged sections to the vast opportunities in the World.
As a newly-qualified Trained PGT in Physics with 3 years’ experience in a senior secondary
class, I feel I would be doing the best for the role of Academic Associate in the Physics
Department at your prestigious Institution.
The nature of my work in education and service to mankind has prepared me for this position.
My interest in teaching and learning stimulated me to lead a professional degree of Bachelor
of Education (2020-22). I worked as a Senior secondary Physics teacher in NIET Group of
Institutions’( ) which inspired me to go for a teaching career later. My role here was
to scaffold and facilitate senior secondary students of NIOS curriculum. Prepare and deliver
lectures to Senior Secondary students on Advanced Physics topics for Board exams and other
competitive exams followed. Prepare course material such as worksheets and handouts for them
curricula. Supervise the practical laboratory work in General Physics and Electronics.
Supporting the students by assisting in setting up labs and conducting tutorial sessions.
Along with my B. Ed (2020-22) course I was selected as an Online Physics Faculty in an Edtech
Catalyze Centre for Learning Chennai Also, I am a
Freelance Physics Tutor in an US EdTech platform the past one year
tutoring and mentoring IGCSE, A/AS Level students from different parts of the world.
In 2020 I completed my M.Phil. Physics ( ) Research work and coursework from
Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune under the guidance of Dr. H.M. Pathan Assistant
Professor Department of Physics SPPU Pune. My research work was in Solar Photovoltaics
and Energy Studies along with a paper publication in an international peer
reviewed journal.
I see myself as an educator not just a Teacher I actively promote a flexible, supportive and
dynamic learning environment and encourage students to challenge the material. I am looking
ahead to a career in Research and Academics in Science Teaching and Instruction. I am
enthusiastic about education and always strive to do the best for my students. I also have the
enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of this role in UAEU.
I am looking ahead for a career in schools in Dubai as my Husband works for Hospitality
Industry in Dubai, UAE. I am enthusiastic about education and always strive to do the best for
my students. I am able to take on responsibility for learning and have experience of successfully
managing a class. I also have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success
of this role.
