My lessons are personalised to each student’s needs. I start by identifying the areas you find most challenging, then build lessons around boosting confidence and understanding. Sessions usually begin with a quick recap, followed by clear step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and plenty of practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions at any point and make sure each topic feels manageable before moving on.
I focus on making maths simple and approachable by breaking down difficult topics into smaller, easy-to-understand steps. I use real-life examples and exam-style questions to keep lessons engaging and relevant. My approach is supportive and patient, aiming to help students not just improve grades but also feel confident tackling maths independently.
I am experienced in teaching students from KS3 to GCSE. I am also an A-level Maths and Further Maths student who got 9s in both Maths and Further Maths GCSE showing my true love and dedication to the subject, which I will be sure to pass onto my students. I have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and exam requirements and would further support my students in grade 8-9 exam questions to aid them getting the best results they possibly can. I am skilled at adapting lessons to different learning styles and learning how my students learn best and adapting to this to get them the best results possible. I am extremely passionate about helping students enjoy maths and reach their full potential and to truly love the subject as I do and enjoy it.
