My lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I believe that every learner has the ability to succeed in mathematics once concepts are explained in a way that makes sense to them. That is why I take time to assess my students’ current level of understanding, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and then build a personalised plan that meets their goals.

In terms of format, I usually begin each lesson with a short recap of previous work to strengthen retention and confidence. From there, I introduce new concepts step by step, using simple explanations, examples, and diagrams where necessary. I strongly believe in practice, so I incorporate a variety of exercises ranging from guided problems to independent tasks. For students preparing for exams such as GCSEs or A-Levels, I make extensive use of past papers and timed practice questions to improve accuracy and speed.

I also aim to make lessons interactive. I encourage students to ask questions freely, share their thought process, and engage in problem-solving discussions. This approach helps students develop not only the right answers but also the critical thinking skills needed to tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence.
