I am a passionate and results-driven music therapist and educator with extensive experience working with children of diverse abilities and needs. My core qualities include patience, creativity, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. These traits have been especially valuable in my work with children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and other developmental challenges. I believe every child has potential, and music is a powerful tool to unlock that potential.
My professional journey has equipped me with the skills to design and implement individualized music therapy sessions that promote communication, cognitive development, social interaction, and emotional regulation. I have successfully worked in one-on-one and group settings, collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure consistent support across environments.
My teaching method is holistic and flexible, combining structured musical activities with improvisation, storytelling, movement, and the use of visual aids. I make use of various instruments, songs, and rhythmic patterns to create a stimulating and enjoyable learning experience. Each session is tailored to the child’s interests, strengths, and developmental goals. I also incorporate elements of speech therapy where necessary, especially to enhance articulation, receptive and expressive language, and turn-taking skills.
I am committed to continuous learning and professional growth, always seeking new ways to support and empower my students. Whether working with beginners or more advanced learners, I aim to create a positive, nurturing space where each child feels seen, heard, valued, and inspired to express themselves through music with confidence.
