Phoebe Saunders

Hi, I am a first year Masters student in Derby studying Dance Movement Psychotherapy, with an undergraduate degree in BSc Psychology and Criminology - First Class Honours.
My key subject areas are Psychology, English and Art up to A-Level, or University level for Psychology. I am also able to teach Maths, Science, and Geography up to Key Stage 5, please discuss with me if there is something I am not able to offer and I will see what I can do.
I have 5+ years experience working in education, with 1:1 and SEN experience. Location: Online or nearby.
I have a passion for expressive arts and dance, but also wellbeing and mental health. I aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment wherever I work, and enjoy supporting and helping others. I am kind and patient with everything I do, but do not like to leave matters unresolved and will work hard until the task is completed.
I prefer to work in a 1:1 setting so that all my attention can be directed to tutee. I take a practical, hands-on approach where necessary, but am happy to adapt my techniques to suit the lesson and individual. I enjoy planning fun and exciting lessons that are engaging, whilst still covering all essential criteria. I have experience in delivering workshops that are aimed to help young people with their goals and aspirations, as well as confidence building and I aim to integrate these skills into my tutoring approach. I would be happy to plan lessons at an additional cost and have access to a lot of supplies, but would be just as happy to assist the individual with their specific needs.

Preferred age is primary, however I am happy to teach up to A-level in any subject discussed including, English and Maths, History, Geography, Psychology, Biology, Art and Design, and University level for Psychology and Criminology.
