I have experience tutoring in ancient languages for GCSE and beginner adult levels, including learners with neurodiverse needs. Feel free to message about any specific requirements, such as cameras being on or off, fonts for dyslexia, or anything else, and I'll do my best to accommodate them.
I shape my lessons to the student's needs, but key formats include: - Reviewing specific content on a syllabus in bite-sized chunks if a student doesn't feel like they understand a core concept - Running through common mistakes to help avoid language pitfalls - Going through tests, homework, or worksheets that a student has completed elsewhere to understand mistakes and places for improvement I may also bring in relevant historical context for a text if the learner is interested, and especially if it helps in understanding the structure or aims of a work as a whole.
I use a shared whiteboard for working, online and in-person, and I'm happy to share handouts of my material if the learner requires it. I can also direct learners towards a wealth of online resources for independent work in their own time, including parsing and vocabulary resources (some of which I have created myself!).
Please message me if you have any questions at all, or check out my LinkedIn profile for a bit more information about my awards at university.
