I’m a passionate Maths A Level student who achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths in 2025, and I know exactly what it takes to succeed in the exam...because I’ve recently just done it myself. I fully understand the current curriculum, exam requirements and style, as well as common mistakes.

I love studying Maths and plan to go on to study Maths or Physics at university and tutoring isn’t just a part time job for me, it’s the foundation of my future career. I genuinely want to help students understand maths, improve their exam performance, feel confident ahead of their GCSE exams, and reach their potential.

I know how stressful Maths can feel, and how confusing exam questions are often worded. My age means I’m highly relatable to students, and I’m able to explain concepts and exam questions in a way that genuinely makes sense; without overcomplicating things.

My lessons are very exam-focused, structured around past papers and key topics, and actively engaging. We work through the GCSE topic areas step by step, building understanding before applying skills to real past exam questions. I guide students through questions carefully, showing them how to break down what the exam is really asking, how marks are awarded, and how to maximise their score, even on the trickiest questions.

Rather than just giving answers, I focus on:

* Clear, step-by-step explanations

* Developing confidence and problem-solving skills

* Understanding mark schemes and exam technique

* Turning “I don’t get it” into “I know how to start”

Lessons are collaborative and supportive and we tackle questions together, discuss mistakes openly, and use them as opportunities to improve. This approach helps students feel more confident, prepared, and in control going into their exams.

I’ve been really proud to support students who have needed to move from level 3 mock results, through to then successfully achieving a pass for their GCSE maths, with our once a week 1 hour sessions on line, as well as helping my students boost their exam performance to achieve their top grades.
