My experience spans over ten years of clinical, academic and teaching work. I am published in the areas of psychotherapy, depression, trauma and animal and nature assisted therapies. I am educated to doctoral level in Psychology and am a clinical supervisor on a masters psychotherapy training at Hartpury University. I am also an academic journal peer reviewer for Raysaley.

I support students with any area of psychology, including exam preparation, essays, research and academic writing. I teach in a calm, encouraging and structured way that supports confidence, even if you’re feeling stuck.

I use a range of evidence-based teaching modalities to ensure your learning style is taken into consideration for our work together. I work collaboratively with you and can provide creative, experiential learning through to PowerPoint presentations, aiming to keep it fresh and engaging.

Using visual, audible, verbal and written methodologies allows for learning to be integrated, engaging and retained in your memory.

Learning with me is about becoming a psychologist, not just being a passive student. This means that our work together is reflective and meaningful throughout the process. In turn this provides you with many other sets of skills for life and work that you can showcase through lived experience, your CV, academia and personal growth.

All my teaching and academic work adheres to the British Psychological Society’s academic, research and ethical frameworks ensuring it feels coherent, evidence-based and enjoyable.
