I have 15 years experience in teaching and learning for students across different school levels - elementary, secondary and university school levels. I have served as a Director of Students Academic success Centre where I improved students' academic performance from low grades to high grades by simplifying contents, using differentiated instructional strategies and creating motivating learning environment. My work has consistently resulted in turning underperforming students and teachers into high performing learners and teachers with some achieving awards at state, national and international levels.
I hold a PhD in curriculum and instruction (With a distinction), an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S) (With a distinction) from American College of Education, Indianapolis, U.S., a Master's Degree in curriculum and instruction (With a distinction) from Merrimack College, Massachusetts, U.S.
My instructions are student-centred, results-driven and adaptable with strong written and verbal communication skills. Teaching methods used include I do-We do-You do, graphic organizers, visual charts, problem-solving activities, guided practice and other techniques.
