I have been a tutor for other companies for the last 4 years and upon success recently opened my own tutoring company, I believe that tutoring should not be a draining process for a child and instead nurture them to lighten their struggles as it can be overwhelming. I ensure to provide personally tailored lessons which solidify my student's understanding and help a passion blossom for their subject.

I have experience teaching a wide range of students, whether it is that you are barely passing and wants to excel, or if you are a successful student that just wants revision. Additionally, I am also experienced in tutoring children with special educational needs.

My lessons are interactive and feel conversational to keep the student engaged as from personal experience I know how boring it can be sometimes to be tutored online and your mind can wonder! I am patient and use analogies to breakdown hard concepts. I am also willing to explain the same topic as many times as needed as I understand that is what a student needs at times!

I strictly use exam board specifications to go through content to make sure nothing is missed, followed by exam questions to solidy and test understanding for my science lessons. For maths lessons, I believe practically doing questions is essential to understanding so I will go through the first few questions with the student and then see whether they can understand the concept without my input. There is no pressure as making mistakes is essential to learning!
