My whole class approach includes aspects of teaching such as rotations in the class room, group work which gives pupils the opportunity to research the part of the learning they have been assigned and sharing their finding s with the class. From here, the class would come together and collate the information they have each found in their groups.
I teach very much with a pupil led approach, allowing pupil voice to inform my practice and I feel this enables the pupils to feel included in learning, which then leads to successful learners as they have had an input in what they would like to be taught.
As a class we co create our topics, what we would like to learn, the ways in which they would like to learn and areas that they would like to cover within that topic. This is proving a very positive method in the current class topic, World War 2.
