As an experienced and passionate mathematics tutor, my online lessons are carefully structured to be interactive, personalised, and aligned with each student’s academic goals. I have taught students at various levels—from KS3 to GCSE and A-level—helping them build confidence and mastery in maths. Each lesson begins with a brief warm-up to revisit previous concepts or introduce the topic of the day, followed by a clear and structured explanation of key ideas using real-life examples and interactive tools like whiteboards and GeoGebra. I encourage active participation by guiding students through problems step-by-step, ensuring they understand the logic behind each method rather than simply memorising formulas. As lessons progress, I introduce more challenging questions to stretch their thinking and develop strong problem-solving skills. I place a strong emphasis on exam readiness, teaching students how to break down complex questions, manage time effectively, and apply strategies specific to UK exam boards such as Edexcel, AQA, and OCR. Lessons always conclude with a summary and constructive feedback, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for growth. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Over the years, I’ve helped students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine interest in mathematics. Whether a student is struggling with the basics or preparing for top performance in exams, I tailor each session to suit their needs, making maths more approachable, engaging, and enjoyable.
