I believe the best learning happens when students feel confident enough to try, make mistakes, and grow without fear of failure. My approach to tutoring Maths to GCSE level and Economics to A-Level is built around reducing anxiety, building confidence, and helping every learner realise that they are capable of success.

I bring both academic and real-world educational experience to my tutoring. I achieved an A in A-Level Economics and spent four years as Managing Director of a mathematics education company, working closely with schools, teachers, parents, and students to improve learning outcomes. This experience gave me a deep understanding not only of curriculum and attainment, but also of the emotional barriers many young people face when learning maths and analytical subjects.

Alongside this, I currently volunteer online as a reading mentor for a literacy charity, supporting learners patiently and positively to develop confidence and resilience. I understand that every student learns differently, and I tailor sessions to individual needs, pace, and goals.

My tutoring style is calm, encouraging, and structured. I focus on breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps, celebrating progress, and creating an environment where students feel safe to ask questions. Whether preparing for GCSE exams or developing stronger economic understanding at A-Level, my goal is always to help students become more confident, independent learners who believe in their own ability to succeed.
